-METHODS-

These are my methods.
There is more to it than this but, this isn't really a "how to" site.
It's more of a way to show that mine are built well.
I use only tools and techniques created specifically for my designs.
I have researched and refined to get pure, distilled, 200 proof quality.
If you want something that you can't find, or would be one of a kind,
I can make it real.

-NOTCHING-
The importance of the proper fitment of nodes cannot be over stressed. The tubing must connect uniformly, the edges must be beveled, and thin edges of the cope must be trimmed for the best possible weld.
-BENDING-
This is the business end of a custom made bender. The draw-through action prevents the tubing from being distorted. The common store bought Hydraulic type crushes and crimps the tube, this has no place on a chassis.
-ALIGNMENT-
The plumb bob, ancient and accurate. This insures proper alignment of the steering head.
-ENGINE MOUNT WELDMENT-
The first step to strong welds is cleanliness. The area must be cleaned of scale and chemical residues. Acid, followed by acetone, followed by mechanical means are used. The next step is proper fitment, a contact fit with beveled edges. Proper weld puddle control and filer addition are necessary, this is evidenced by an aesthetically pleasing bead.
-FIXTURES-
The only way to get the parts to be where you want them is a high quality fixture. Heat is a tool as much as it is an obstacle. The ideal would be to join the materials without heating them, let alone heating to a phase change. Heat causes distortion but this can be controlled by a properly designed fixture and strategic welding.
